Peter has lived in and around Ormskirk for his entire life and has always taken a very professional interest in the wellbeing of Ormskirk.
Peter has represented Knowsley ward for ten years along with fellow District Councillors, Val Hopley and Rob Bailey. He is the third generation of his family to serve following both his father and grandfather onto the Council.
Peter is married with four daughters and lives on Asmall Lane. Together with his brother, he runs a small agricultural business.
In recent times Peter has taken a keen interest in planning and supports actions to retain the character of Ormskirk. Coronation Park and the town centre owe much of their current rejuvenation to the actions of Peter, Rob and Val in making sure Ormskirk gets its fair share of investment. Street cleansing and grounds maintenance have also improved markedly through his continued pressure for the best services for Ormskirk.
