Carolyn Evans - Skelmersdale East

Carolyn has lived in Lancashire all her life. She is a widow, and has two children. She was a West Lancashire district councillor for a brief period in 2002. She is a trustee director of the West Lancashire Citizens Advice Bureau based in Skelmersdale.  She also serves as a governor of Mossy Lea primary school and UpHolland High School. She is the county councillor for Skelmersdale East.  She recently moved to live in UpHolland.

 

At County Hall she is currently champion for disabled people; chairman of the NEETS task group; deputy chair of adult services scrutiny committee and also sits on the childrens' services committee.  She is also a member of the Schools' Appeals Board.
