AN Ormskirk campaigner and prospective local councillor has successfully lobbied highways chiefs over a service road in the town.
Edward McCarthy, who will fight Scott Ward for the Conservatives at this May's local elections, was contacted by residents on County Road who were concerned about the service road which allows access to properties between The Fiveways and The Hayfield pubs.
