 | Additional road repairs in West Lancashire |

 Before the elections in June, Conservatives at the county council pledged to improve road maintenance if they took control of the council. An additional £9million has been allocated to improve roads across Lancashire and the following roads will benefit in the West Lancashire constituency:
- Alexander Close, Burscough
- Chorley Road/Robin Lane junction, Hilldale
- Part of Redgate, Ormskirk
- Ludlow Drive, Ormskirk
- Stopgate Lane, Simonswood
- Gladden Place, Skelmersdale
- Ivybridge, Skelmersdale
- Small length of Lancaster Crescent, Skelmersdale
- Lyndale, Skelmersdale
- Part of Pimbo Lane, UpHolland
